Easiest Ever Glazed Ham

Sweet, tangy, and perfectly caramelized, this ham brings big holiday flavour with minimal effort — so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time around the table.

  • 1 boneless honey ham, about 4 lb

For the Glaze

  • 1/3 cup apricot jam
  • 3 Tbsp grainy mustard
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Glaze: Stir jam with mustard, brown sugar and maple syrup until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a roasting pan with a rack.
  3. Place ham on rack;  add 1/2-inch water to bottom of roaster and tent ham with greased foil.
  4. Roast for 60 to 90 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers between 150-155°F. Remove ham from oven and adjust oven temperature to broil.
  5. Brush ham liberally with half the glaze. Return to oven; set on middle rack. Broil, rotating pan often and basting with remaining glaze midway, for 10 to 15 minutes or until the exterior is nicely caramelized.
  6. Rest ham for 15 minutes before carving (the internal temperature will continue to rise to 160°F during the broiling and resting stages).

TIPS:

For an equally easy and impressive holiday ham, use a bone-in, spiral sliced, fully cooked ham. Place the ham, flat-side-down in the roaster. Roast as directed above, adjusting the cook time as needed based on weight, estimating 15 minutes per pound. The glaze recipe doubles easily if cooking a larger ham.

Warm jam gently in the microwave or on the stovetop if needed to loosen before combining with remaining ingredients.
