Air Fryer Hot Honey Pork Chop

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless center-cut pork chops, about 1 1/2 lb
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Cooking oil spray
  • Hot honey, for drizzling

Preparation

  1. Pat pork chops dry and set aside.
  2. Add panko, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to a shallow dish and combine well.
  3. Place egg in another shallow dish. Dip pork chops in egg, letting excess drip off. Add pork to crumbs; flipping and pressing pork chops multiple times until all sides are very well coated. Discard any unused crumbs and egg.
  4. Line basket with air fryer parchment paper liner. Lightly coat chops with cooking oil spray. Transfer pork chops to air fryer in one layer, working in batches as needed.
  5. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying again with oil, or until chops reach an internal temperature reaches 155°F. Keep chops warm between batches and/or rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
  6. Drizzle chops with hot honey just before serving.
